Bringing Aging Pavement Back to Life
Rejuvenators have unique formulations that prolong pavement life by restoring a
pavement's original properties that have been lost through oxidation, de-icing
chemicals and other surface contaminates.
Rejuvenators are used as an emulsified preservative seal which penetrates the
pavement surface and restores the original properties of the asphalt, and will
also help to seal hairline cracks and fill surface pores which have developed
due to age-hardening. Rejuvenators can also be added or mixed to aged asphalt
pavements during or after a heating and pulverizing process, which will return
the pavement to its original state, restoring elasticity, and thus reversing and
delaying the aging process.
